Approval workflow for plans and forecasts
Many organizations use a dual-control (or "four-eyes") principle to verify planning. Under this process, after you create investments and enter your planned spends, you must submit them for approval.
An authorized approver will see your request in the Budgets section (highlighted in red under the Approvals column). The approver can review the request and choose to approve it, deny it, or send it back for rework.
Once a decision is made, it will appear in your activity plan. If a request is denied or sent back, you must adjust the corresponding spends and resubmit them until they are fully approved.
This same workflow can also be used for forecasting.
